Pinoe and Baby Horse making funny faces. Possibly at each other.
Adorable team is adorable.
Kate Deines was interviewed yesterday by Sounders podcast Nos Audietis. She talks a lot about the uncertainty after being drafted and dropped by the WPS, playing football while keeping a full time job, pinching herself a lot because of her current situation playing with NT members in soccer country, and was cute and almost fangirly from playing with Hope Solo at her back. She was surprised that Hope is actually shorter than her since Hope projects really big on the field. And is very vocal. Very. Vocal. LOL
Sad bit is how someone in her early 20s is already talking like another domestic pro league is something younger people might hope for. She obviously wishes to get a chance on the USWNT, the only place there is any real livelihood in soccer now, but she is also trying to get into law school. And this is why the US pool is going to get weak without pro league.
